Wilkins Peak Trail System Expansion & Trail Head

🚵‍♀️ BIG NEWS: The Wilkins Peak Expansion is HERE! 🚵‍♂️
After over a decade of planning, we are thrilled to announce that the Sweetwater Mountain Bike Association (SMBA) has officially received approval for our 20+ mile expansion! This massive project will take riders up and over Wilkins Peak, connecting Green River to Rock Springs and back. We’re talking new vistas, epic descents, and world-class facilities including a new trailhead and BLM vault toilets.
🛠️ We Need Your Help to Build the Future
We are currently working hard on the trailhead with the Greenbelt Task Force and the City of Green River, but we have some "big-ticket" goals to reach:

  • Vault Toilet: $32,000+

  • Covered Shelter & BBQ Area: $20,000+

  • Information Center & Signage
